This organ is very likely a Poirot organ, as explained by its current owner Herman Riddering :
Herman Riddering’s grand father, Herman Riddering born 1887, told him he heard from the previous owner Mister Desmet from Sittard (NL) that he was sure it was a Poirot organ.
The Riddering’s organ restorer Mister van Deventer from Brummen (NL) also always said. « I'm sure it is a French organ from Mirecourt ».
Two of this kind of organs were build by Poirot and both organs where delivered to Fa.Leon Warnies Amsterdam/Rotterdam about the year 1900 (this company was a rent barrelorgans). One of these organs was destroyed in Rotterdam during the second worldwar in the year 1945 and the second was used as a streetorgan in Amsterdam before a rebuilding.
